Well, now my youngest has turned 16! See one of my posts for the story about his ‘party’. A little more about me. While active duty I spent almost 5 years in Greece and another 5 in England. I’ve traveled around many of the Greek Islands, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Wales. I’ve also been to Mexico a couple of times. I’d love to make another trip to Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. Would also love to go to Peru, Brazil, and Aruba.
One thing I can say with no doubts is that despite our problems, the United States of America is the best place in the world to live. We have more conveniences and opportunities than any other country in the world. We tend to take our luxuries and riches forgranted and that’s a shame. If you’re an American and want to trash America…that’s fine, just make sure you’ve tried living in a third world country on the economy before you do.
Who am I? I am a 45 year-old female. I retired after 20 years in the USAF. I now work for the government again, but this time I get to choose what I wear to work! I have two sons, one 17 and one almost 16, and one husband (also retired from USAF).
I love to read. I’ll read damn near anything. I enjoy learning, am fascinated with ancient history. I am also a preacher’s daughter and you know what they say about preacher’s daughters!?!
Used to bowl back in my active duty days, but not so much these days. Used to party hard back in my active duty days, but not so much these days. Takes too long to recover!!

Hi,
I have read a few of the reviews you have given me. I would be interested in conversating about them.
If you would, please drop me an e-mail.
Thank you,
Cara
Hi, JJ –
Just wanted to say “thanks” for taking the time to read and review “Faces in the Fire” on Amazon. I may have gone a bit over-the-top (okay, maybe a lot over-the-top) with some of the oddities, but as they say these days, that’s the way I roll.
And the answer to the rhetorical question you posed in your review: I’m probably extremely troubled.
Troubled, schmoubled, it just makes the writing more interesting!
Thanks for your kind words and good luck on your next book!
JJ
